Their Story
The Devon Rex originated in England in the 1960s, discovered when a unique curly-coated kitten was found on a farm in Devon. This natural mutation led to the development of the breed we know today. Breeders selected for their playful personality, intelligence, and affectionate nature, making the Devon Rex a highly social and interactive cat.
Appearance
Devon Rexes are small to medium-sized cats with an elegant, slender build, large ears set low on the head, and prominent cheekbones.
Their most distinctive feature is their soft, curly coat, which comes in a wide variety of colours and patterns including:
Solids: Black, Blue, Red, Cream, Chocolate, Lilac, Cinnamon, Fawn
Tabbies: Classic, Mackerel, Spotted, Ticked
Others: Bi-color, Calico/Tortoiseshell, Pointed (Siamese-style), Shaded/Smoke
